Candidate Intro. Mike Herter 67 District

Mike Herter is running against RightMichigan's
Wall of Shame Member,Barb Byrum
a tax and spend liberal

While claiming to be "pro-business" Barb Bryum, aka Mrs. Brad Delaney, in her bid for re-election,"I am committed to doing everything I can to protect our citizens and local businesses." scored only 30% out of 100% in casting votes in favor of job providers according to the recent Michigan Chamber Legislative Scorecard. The Chamber based their scores on representatives who cast votes in favor of job providers.

Is it no wonder that with tax and spend liberals like Barb Bryum that unemployment in Michigan is almost 9% and that according to a survey of U.S. corporate executives Michigan scored 3rd in the least favorable business climate of all U.S. states with taxes, high costs, and "anti-business climate/regulation" accounting for the negative opinions

Mike Herter is a business man, who owns and operates Michigan Manufacturing Solutions, a consulting firm that works with manufacturing firms on plant efficiency issues. Making these manufacturer’s globally competitive with Michigan labor. Mike understands the importance of creating a favorable business climate and tax structure.

Mike is also a member of Right to Life of Michigan, a member of the NRA, and an avid hunter and fisherman.

Moreover, Mike is a member of Farm Bureau, USA Hockey and having played hockey for many years is now a Level IV hockey coach. Mike is a past member of the American Polled Hereford Association, having owned and raised Polled Herefords as the former operator of Herter Farms Inc. a beef cattle feedlot, located in Stockbridge

Mike has been working very hard on the campaign trail, including doing lots of door-to-door.
This is a race that can be won as 67th is largely rural and conservative District. Furthermore, the constituency has now experienced the reality vs. the rhetoric of Barb Bryum.

I am on the Host Committee for a fundraiser for Mike with special guest Terri Lynn Land this coming Monday, September 29th in Holt.
